Get ready to embrace the spirit of nostalgia as Neath Round Table (NRT) brings back the much-awaited NRT Fest, an annual music festival that promises an unforgettable weekend filled with sensational live performances.

Prepare to be transported through time as this year’s event showcases the best musical acts from the past three decades, gracing the stage as headliners.

Organised by the dedicated volunteers at Neath Round Table, this highly anticipated event will take place at the Cwrt Herbert Playing Fields, Neath, over the weekend of Friday, July 7 and Saturday, July 8.

NRT Fest 2023 is set to celebrate the best of both the past and present by featuring original acts from the ’90s and ’00s, ensuring a nostalgic experience like no other. This year, the event has announced its most iconic headliners yet.

On Friday, the chart-topping band Toploader will take to the stage, famous for their soulful and anthemic hits such as “Dancing in the Moonlight” and “Achilles Heel”. Joining them will be Dodgy, a renowned Britpop band known for their infectious melodies and catchy tunes like “Good Enough” and “Staying Out for the Summer”.

Saturday’s line-up is set to be equally thrilling with Tinchy Stryder, the British rapper and producer who rose to fame with chart-topping tracks like “Number 1” and “Never Leave You”. Joining him will be Blazin’ Squad, the iconic 10-piece hip-hop collective known for their energetic performances and hits such as “Crossroads” and “Flip Reverse”.

In addition to the event’s famous headliners, NRT Fest 2023 will feature an exciting line-up of support acts, including many local bands and artists. It will also include a variety of thrilling rides courtesy of Studt’s Funfair, creating a carnival atmosphere that will add to the festival’s ambience. Local businesses will also be present, operating stalls and providing sponsorship to support the event.

Festival goers will not only get the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic experience, but will also be contributing to the wider community, as all profits from the festival will be donated to worthy causes, community groups, and local charities.

Tickets for NRT Fest 2023 are now available for purchase via the Gwyn Hall website. A Weekend Pass, granting access to both Friday and Saturday performances, is priced at just £20 (+ booking levy). For those under 16 years of age, tickets will be exclusively available at the gate for just £6 each. Children under the age of six can enjoy the festival free of charge, making NRT Fest an inclusive event for the whole family.
